Passport laws have been changed. If you are flying to another country (including Mexico, Canada and the Caribbean), you need a passport. If you are taking a cruise where you embark the ship in one U.S. city and disembark in another U.S. city, you need a passport. If your cruise embarks and disembarks in the same U.S. City, you may still travel with a certified copy of your birth certificate and a government issued photo ID.
Please clarify your itinerary and passport requirements with your Cruise Holidays Vacation Planner. If you will be applying for a passport, please allow 4-6 weeks for passport processing.
A passport is valid for 10 years for adults 16 years of age and older, and 5 years for children under 16.
